Pump vaults are an essential component of pondless water feature systems. They provide a submerged and accessible chamber for pumps, making maintenance much easier. Oase has recently redesigned their range of pump vaults to make them more robust and easier to install. The new rectangular shape of the vaults matches perfectly with the Oase Maxima crates. Each pump vault occupies the same floor space as a single Maxima crate. Rectangular inlets located at different heights ensure ample flow into the chamber, minimizing the risk of the pumps running dry. The pump vaults have cut-outs on the side that can accommodate pipework up to a maximum outer diameter of 64mm (2½"). 
 
The Pump Vault 20000 is compatible with the Maxima 60 crate and has a maximum flow rate of 20,000 liters per hour (333 l/min). The Pump Vault 60000 is compatible with the Maxima 120 crates and has a maximum flow rate of 60,000 liters per hour (1,000 l/min). Pump Vault Extensions are also available and can be easily added on top of pump vaults to increase their height. Several pump vault extensions can be used together as required.
