The OASE Diffused Aeration Ring is a specialized air hose assembly designed to connect with a suitable pond air pump. Once connected, it produces a curtain of air bubbles that helps increase the dissolved oxygen content in pond or lake water and aids in water circulation. 
 
The Aeration Ring comes with a 60cm diameter and 5 meters of 8mm ID Air Hose. Additionally, it has a threaded adapter that accepts 4mm or 8mm internal diameter airline. 
 
The Porous Air Line has a diameter of 8mm internal and 25mm external. Along with the Aeration Ring, it is supplied with 5 meters of 8mm ID Air Hose. 
 
The recommended air flow rate for optimal performance is 5000 - 7500 Liters per Hour. Also, it is recommended to use the AquaOxy 5000 or AquaOxy 7500 for the air pump.
